Whenever we lost Coach would ask for the winning team’s shoes.
He’d duct-tape us, "To help you focus."
He’d put in our O-ring gags, "For full exposure."
He’d crank up the heat, “To help your bodies and minds incubate.”
He knew we could be better… that we could be trained…
